Welcome to the 29th Anniversary of the Low Tide Ride & Stride! We have a FANTASTIC, FUN 5K COURSE and you won’t want to miss it! Start and end at North Beach! Gather your friends and family. Drop your beach chairs and reusable water bottle at Sunset Park. Run, Bike, or Walk the course and then join the fun at Sunset Park following the race. Enjoy Fun Music, a Kid’s Zone, visit vendors’ booths, and Raffle give aways! Celebrate Summer with the Whole Family!

 

Who Are We Supporting?

The Low Tide Ride & Stride is Coronado Rotary Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year! 100% of our proceeds go to worthy charities and projects with the majority going  to help support our local military and first responders. With hundreds of thousands of dollars being donated over the years, this event has become an important source of support for our local military and first responder communities. In 2025 we 734 participants and raised more than $194,000!!

In recognition of the achievements of the Low Tide Ride & Stride, the event has received both the San Diego Military Advisory Council’s Achievement Award and the Armed Services YMCA Admiral St George Award.

 

Tell Me About the Race Course!

The Low Tide Ride & Stride is the SAME racecourse as the timed training runs that the SEALS use in their BUD/S training!! From North Beach to the Amphibious Base and back.

We don’t go onto the Amphibious Base in order to protect the Least Tern’s nesting grounds; these beautiful birds are an endangered species and their numbers continue to dwindle. Even the military must limit their training on the beach during the Least Turn’s nesting season March – September.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of summer than to run, walk, and bike the 29th Anniversary Low Tide Ride & Stride!

 

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-Up

  • PRE-RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP:  FRIDAY, July 17, 2026 
  • TIME: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
  • LOCATION: U.S. Bank Parking Lot, 800 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118.  Parking lot is behind the bank with the entrance on D Avenue.
    • Bibs and race shirt will be available.
    • Friends and family may pick up for others.

Race Day Pick-Up:

  • Bibs and shirts may be picked up on race day at Sunset Park beginning at 6:30am until Race Start at 8:00am and immediately following the race until 11:00am.
